On 6th and 7th May, JITO Jodhpur Ladies Wing organised the Premier Stumps League—a spirited and action-packed Box Cricket Tournament at Sportify, 9 Heavy Industrial Area, Jodhpur, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Convened by Seema Jain with co-convener Rekha Bohra, the event witnessed a remarkable participation of over 200 attendees, including 48 players across six dynamic teams: JITO Contemporary Warriors, JITO Rajgharana Royals, JITO Bhikshu Jainsons Queens, JITO Bhandari Titans, JITO Stars, and JITO Pride. The tournament began with the chanting of the Navkar Mantra, setting a positive and energizing tone.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Arisht Singhvi—Secretary of the District Cricket Association, Rajasthan, and the first IPL and Ranji Trophy player from Jodhpur—along with Past Presidents Shreepal Ji Lodha and Nirmal Ji Bhandari, JITO Jodhpur Chief Secretary Prashant Bohra, and Gatik Bhandari, National Convener–JSTCL.
The Premier Stumps League was designed to empower women through sports, strengthen community bonds, encourage youth engagement, promote a vibrant sports culture, and provide recreation and stress relief. Over two days of thrilling matches, participants honed their cricket skills, fostered teamwork, and enjoyed a lively atmosphere filled with cheer and camaraderie. Special prizes were awarded, with JITO Rajgharana Royals claiming 1st place and JITO Bhikshu Jainsons Queens securing 2nd place. Additional recognitions included Best Slogan, Best Poster, Best Bowler, Best Batswoman, Woman of the Series, and Woman of the Match—sponsored by Uma Polymers. The event concluded with a delightful dinner, leaving everyone inspired, connected, and eager for future sporting celebrations.
