The Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) Jodhpur Chapter celebrated World Navkar Mantra Day with immense devotion and grandeur at Gandhi Maidan on Tuesday. More than a religious observance, the event embodied discipline, unity, and timeless cultural values.
At exactly 8:01 AM, as the collective chanting of the Navkar Mantra began, Gandhi Maidan was filled with an extraordinary spiritual energy. Over 10,000 devotees — men in white and women in red sarees — sat barefoot in perfectly aligned rows, creating a powerful spiritual spectacle unique to Jodhpur.
Jodhpur MLA Atul Bhansali also joined the gathering, humbly participating in the chanting alongside devotees, reflecting the spirit of equality and devotion that defined the occasion.
A special message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, broadcast live from Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, was screened for the attendees. His words on the transformative power of the Navkar Mantra were met with thunderous applause, further elevating the atmosphere of reverence.
The event was meticulously led by JITO Jodhpur Chapter Chairman Shri Priyesh Bhandari, who welcomed all participants, while Program Convener Rajesh Karnawat delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, stating,
"Today, we have truly made history by experiencing the collective energy of the Navkar Mantra on Jodhpur’s sacred soil."
The collective chanting was far more than a ritual — it stood as a powerful testament to meditation, inner purification, peace, and unity. The event reaffirmed that even in today’s world, traditions continue to inspire and unite humanity.
