Navkar Kalash Yatra Organised in Jodhpur Ahead of Global Navkar Mantra Day
On April 7, 2025, the city of Jodhpur witnessed the grand and spiritually uplifting Navkar Kalash Yatra, organized by JITO Jodhpur in collaboration with the Jain community. The yatra was flagged off from the holy premises of Bherubag Jain Teerth by City MLA Shri Atul Bansali, along with former JITO Jodhpur Chairman Shri Shripal Lodha, Shri Nirmal Bhandari, and Shri Anil Bohra.
The Kalash Yatra aimed to spread the message of peace and universal well-being through the chanting of the sacred Navkar Mantra. Devotees carrying beautifully adorned kalash (sacred pots) walked in a vibrant procession that passed through 108 towns and villages across Rajasthan, symbolizing spiritual unity and cultural outreach.
This event served as a precursor to Navkar Mantra Day, to be celebrated globally on April 9, with a collective chanting session from 8:00 AM to 9:36 AM IST, to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The Navkar Kalash Yatra was a remarkable display of devotion, drawing participation from hundreds of devotees and reaffirming Jain values of harmony, non-violence, and spiritual awakening.
