On the occasion of National Startup Day, 16th January 2024, JITO Jodhpur and iStart Rajasthan organized an inspiring event featuring Dharamveer Singh Chouhan, Co-Founder of Zostel. Held as a fireside chat, the event attracted over 100 participants from JITO and the startup community, eager to learn from Dharamveer’s entrepreneurial journey.

The session commenced with an introduction by Raunak Singhvi, Mentor at iStart and WC-JITO JIIF, who outlined iStart's initiatives and the Government of Rajasthan's support for startups. Following this, Dharamveer engaged in an insightful conversation with Gaurav Patwa, where he shared the story behind Zostel's inception. Dharamveer recounted how backpacking in Germany inspired the idea of Zostel and how he chose Jodhpur, his hometown, as the starting point to capitalize on his local knowledge. He emphasized Zostel’s vision of being a community-driven business that connects travelers with spirituality and hidden gems across the globe.

The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony, where Dharamveer was honored by Mr. Aditya Lodha, Vice Chairman of JITO Sports Apex. The session left the audience motivated and energized, reinforcing the spirit of entrepreneurship in the vibrant Jodhpur startup ecosystem.
